When Dr. Lamsa came to the United States with his teachings of the Aramaic Bible he was rejected by mainstream theological institutions. He was forced to devise other means of delivering his message.

He decided to offer lectures and Bible study classes to individual churches. Beginning in the 1950's, Dr. Lamsa's lectures were recorded whenever possible. The acoustics and recording equipment in many of the churches he lectured were of poor quality.

These lectures were first offered by the Aramaic Bible Society in their original condition on cassettes and were barely legible. In fact the quality was so poor that many of the people who bought them were not able to understand them at all and returned them for refunds. Eventually the Aramaic Bible Society stopped selling the cassettes.

The Aramaic Bible Center, after several years of great effort now offer this collection of digitally remastered lectures, radio shows, and other teachings of the pre-eminent scholar of the Aramaic Bible.

Though the sound quality of these lectures are greatly improved, some are not perfect. All of the titles we offer have been tested for clarity and legibility and for the first time the inspiring legacy of Dr. George M. Lamsa's audio lectures are available to learn from and enjoy.
